Due to transportation security administration requirements, all ID media / badge issuance will require a three step process.
- Submission of application and all required documents, typically drivers license and social security card. For acceptability of other documents, please call 402-458-2480.
- Clearance from the transportation security administration which may take up to 72 hours.
- Completion of any training required and actual issuance of the ID badge. Depending on the level of security access, you may be required to attend training.
- Payment will be required when the application is submitted unless otherwise authorized by the Lincoln Airport Authority.
Driver training (Movement Area and Non-Movement Area) may be taken online. Upon submission of your application, all applicable documents and following approval, you will be notified by e-mail on how to proceed with training and testing.

To begin the process, please print the Instructions and ID Application forms below. Please bring your completed Application along with the identification documents specified above in Step 1, to the Lincoln Airport Communications Center, lower level. Take the stairs underneath the escalators and follow the signs.
Please Note: Each badge holder MUST complete annual training during the calendar month of their birthday – failure to do so will result in the revocation of their badge. Training may be accessed through the portal.
