Haven’t had the chance to fly out of Lincoln Airport, but still want to experience it like a passenger? The LNK Guest Pass Program might be for you!
The LNK Guest Pass Program is designed for personal use and enjoyment of Lincoln Airport. It allows non-ticketed visitors to greet friends and family arriving on domestic flights, accompany loved ones to their gates, enjoy post-security dining and shopping, watch aircraft arrivals and departures, and participate in select airport-hosted events

Applications are reviewed and processed Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You may apply up to 2 days in advance or on the same day. Each individual must submit their own application. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Online:
If you apply online or in advance, you will receive an email from an LNK staff member confirming your clearance. You will still need to come to the airport to pick up your physical pass and check in at the Information Desk. Be sure to bring your valid ID when picking it up.
In Person:
If you are applying in person, please bring a valid government-issued ID and visit the Information Desk. Please allow time for TSA clearance and pass printing, as wait times may vary.
Physical Pass:
Before heading to the TSA checkpoint, you must check in at the Information Desk to receive your physical pass.
Once your pass is issued, it is valid for one entry within 24 hours.
Please note: Once TSA is closed, entry through the checkpoint is no longer permitted.
Eligibility
To be considered for entry, all applicants—including minors (under 18)—must provide personal information for vetting by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). If there is a discrepancy or a possible match during the vetting process, access may be denied.
Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the TSA Privacy Notice included in the application and understand how their information will be used.
- Minors must always be accompanied by an approved adult participant
- If bringing minors, include their information in the application
- One adult may accompany up to two minors
- Additional minors require a separate application
Hours of Operation
LNK Guest Pass participants may only access the terminal beyond security while the TSA Security Screening Checkpoint is open. Hours are subject to change based on flight schedules, delays, cancellations, and holidays.
Application Process
- Complete the LNK Guest Pass Program Form
- Submit your application online (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
- If applying in person, bring a valid government-issued photo ID
- The Airport will submit your information to TSA for vetting
- Once processed, you will be notified by phone or email regarding your eligibility
- If approved, someone from the airport will reach out to confirm your eligibility and let you know when your pass is ready for pickup at the information desk.
- When picking up your pass, bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
- Your information will be re-verified by TSA at the Security Checkpoint
- Important: LNK Guest Passes expire 24 hours after they are issued. If submitting in advance, you may submit your request up to two days before your visit. Once received, LNK will review your information and submit it to eSecure for clearance on the day of your visit. If approved, your guest pass will be created, and you can pick it up at the information desk during your visiting day. From there, proceed upstairs to the TSA checkpoint, where you will need to present a valid ID.
Rules and Regulations
LNK Guest Passes are only valid when the TSA checkpoint is open
The checkpoint typically opens 90 minutes before scheduled departures and closes at departure time
Access to the secure (sterile) area is not permitted when the checkpoint is closed
Passes are for personal use only—commercial or professional use is prohibited
LNK Guest Passes may not be shared or transferred
Each pass is valid for one-time entry only and expires after 24 hours
Re-entry is not allowed once you exit the secure area
Participants must wait at least 24 hours before applying again
Overnight stays in the terminal are not permitted
Airport staff, TSA, or law enforcement may ask you to leave at any time
Security & Compliance
Participants must follow all TSA regulations—if you can’t bring it on a plane, don’t bring it
Be prepared to show your LNK Guest Pass upon request by airport staff, TSA, or law enforcement
Failure to present your pass when requested may result in removal from the secure area
All participants must comply with airport rules and all local, state, and federal laws
Additional Information
Lincoln Airport reserves the right to revoke any LNK Guest Pass at its discretion if a participant poses a security risk, disrupts operations, or violates program rules.
While not required, guests are encouraged to follow public health best practices when in the terminal.

What is a LNK Guest Pass?
It allows the general public (not flying that day) to access the terminal area past security to visit friends/family or shop/dine.
How does the LNK Guest Pass work?
- Apply online (same day or up to 7 days in advance)

How long will the LNK Guest Pass Program last?
It is a permanent program, but Lincoln Airport may cancel the program and approve Guest Passes or modify program rules without prior notice.
What hours may I use the LNK Guest Pass?
Only when the TSA Security Checkpoint is open. Ticketed passengers will have priority over Pass participants at the Screening Checkpoint.
Operating times vary, and not all shops, restaurants or amenities may be open during your visit.
Can i use the pass if I'm a ticketing passenger?
No. It is for non-traveling individuals only and using it as a ticketed passenger violates TSA regulations.
What forms of ID are accepted?
Any non-expired photo identification accepted by TSA.
Why is ID required?
To confirm your identity. You must present ID and your Guest Pass upon request.
What Items may I bring with me?
LNK Guest Pass participants are subject to the same TSA security regulations as ticketed passengers.
TSA Prohibited Items regulations also apply to LNK Guest Pass participants. Bringing a prohibited item may lead to confiscation or denial of access.
Visitors are not allowed to bring any large bags or luggage. Visitors must comply with the same TSA screening and inspection procedures as ticketed passengers.
Are minors eligible to use an LNK Guest Pass?
Yes, when accompanied by an Adult. Regardless of age, every visitor must have their own approval code. Visitors under the age of 18 who have an approved photo ID must bring their ID.
How do we apply for a family or group?
Every visitor must complete the online registration form and be approved for entrance, regardless of age. Minors without valid photo IDs must apply and be accompanied by a Guest Pass approved adult.
Can I use the LNK Guest Pass with TSA PreCheck?
No, the Pass is only authorized for general security line entry, even if accompanying a traveler with Pre-Check. To ensure a conflict free experience, please plan appropriately with this temporary separation in mind.
What about wheelchair assistance?
We welcome visitors using personal wheelchairs or other mobility aids, unfortunately we are unable to provide assistance. You may bring someone along to assist but they must also sign up for the LNK Guest pass.
How will I know if I'm approved?
You will receive an email confirmation with your Guest Pass if approved.
Should I request a pass to meet an unaccompanied minor?
No. Coordinate directly with the airline for those arrangements.
Are non-U.S. citizens eligible for and LNK Guest Pass?
Yes, with a valid, non-expired photo identification accepted by TSA.
How will you use my personal information?
